Pavitram is a non-government not for profit organization that will work with Hindu Businesses and Hindu Customers to ensure that the customers patronize Hindu Owned businesses or Hindu Vendors. There are several businesses where the presence of Hindu Vendors is low such as bakery, fruits and vegetables, auto and air conditioning repairs, furniture polishing etc. Hindu customers need to be made aware of the long-term implications of not preferring Hindu Vendors. There is paucity of Hindu Vendors in some of these areas. Pavitram will understand the reasons for such a situation, understand the economics, design a strategy and implement the same through training, skill enhancement, access to funding through organized sources, and active mentoring apart from pushing Hindu customers to prefer such Vendors.
Pavitram is a non-government not for profit organization that will work with Hindu Businesses and Hindu Customers to ensure that the customers patronize Hindu Owned businesses or Hindu Vendors. Pavitram will create a database of Hindu Vendors in every geographical area and will make it available to all customers in that area so that the Hindu Customers prefer to purchase goods and services from Hindu Vendors. Pavitram will create a website and an associated application (Pavitram App) that will not only provide detail information about Hindu Vendors, their products and services, location address, contact details etc. but also enable commercial transactions. Pavitram will also actively promote Hindu Vendors through its website, app etc. and also through other channels such as gatherings, melas, publicity etc. Pavitram logo will be available to the Hindu Vendors which they can display prominently on their premises as well as actively use in their communication with customers. Once the website is set up and the app goes live, Vendors will be able to register with Pavitram. Pavitram will then verify the truthfulness of all the information and then confirm the registration. A support team will be available to answer queries from Vendors. Customers will also be able to search for Hindu Vendors for the products and services that are needed. Once the initiative takes root to a reasonable extent it will extend the initiative to other geographical areas with the help of local social leadership. The role of the existing Pavitram team will then be to facilitate implementation of this initiative through advice, support etc.
